Learn how to best photograph any landscape during this one-day workshop at Spencer Peirce Little Farm in Newbury, MA.
Kelly Mintz will teach you how to photograph a landscape, how to set up your shot and capture what is important in your scene. The class will begin at the studio with a 2 hr. informative lesson on what compositional elements to look for in a landscape when setting up your shot, what modes on your camera to use, as well as a discussion on lighting. Lighting is one of the most over looked subjects in a photograph, yet it is vital to creating striking photographs.
For the second part of the workshop, Kelly will accompany the class on a 2 hr. field trip to the Spencer Peirce Little Farm in Newbury, MA ( just a 3 min. drive). This is a great opportunity to photograph along the instructor and to get inspired by the historic 1680’s architecture, farm animals, picturesque landscape, and possibly some fall colors.
Finally, during the field trip Kelly will provide each student with invaluable techniques and immediate constructive feedback about the photos they are taking and/ or setting up the shot.
A PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS FROM THE WORKSHOP WILL GO TO THE CARE OF THE ADORABLE RESCUED ANIMALS THAT LIVE AT THE SPENCER PEIRCE LITTLE FARM.
If you would like to sign up for this workshop, go to the sign up page above and PLEASE let me know the date you want to attend and your phone number.
