This one-day photography workshop will provide you with better skills on composition and using your camera's settings successfully to photograph waterfalls, rivers and streams.
The workshop provides benefits to both beginner and intermediate photo enthusiasts. Kelly Mintz will begin at her studio, in Newburyport, MA with a 2 hr. lecture on what modes to use, as well as answer questions. "Is it better to shoot in sunny or cloudy weather?" "Should I shoot in AUTO or MANUAL mode?" "What time of day is best to shoot?" These questions and more will help to create dynamic and stunning water photographs. For the second part of the workshop, Kelly will accompany the class on a 1 hr. field trip to the beautiful Powwow River in Amesbury, MA ( just a 15 min. drive). This is a great opportunity to photograph along with the instructor and to get inspired by the beautiful surroundings. (A large waterfall and calm stream) Finally, during the field trip Kelly will provide each student with immediate constructive feedback.
