Join us, Sunday, May 4, for an inspiring 1-day flower photography workshop designed for those who want to master the art of capturing stunning floral images with their digital camera. Held at the Tip Top Farm in Ipswich, MA, this workshop promises a hands-on learning surrounded by thousands of tulips during their tulip festival.
Workshop Overview:
We’ll begin the day at the SEE Shore Photography studio in Newburyport, where workshop instructor, Kelly Mintz will guide you through essential camera settings for flower photography. Whether you're using a macro lens or exploring composition techniques, Kelly will tailor the instruction to each student, ensuring everyone is comfortable and feeling confident with their camera settings before heading out.
Field Session at Tip Top Farm:
After the class lecture, we’ll travel to the nearby Tip Top Farm (just a short 20-minute drive from Newburyport), home to acres of vibrant flower fields in full bloom. It’s the perfect environment for practicing your skills and experimenting with new techniques. Kelly will be right by your side, demonstrating creative ways to capture the natural beauty of flowers, while giving you plenty of time to photograph and apply the concepts from the classroom.
Learn by Doing:
Photographing alongside Kelly offers a unique opportunity to learn by doing. Ask questions, get personalized tips, and draw inspiration from the stunning surroundings as you enhance your flower photography skills. This class only has max, 7 students, so there's lot of individual attention.
Constructive Feedback:
At the end of the day, Kelly will provide each student with personalized, constructive feedback on their photographs, ensuring the experience remains both educational and enjoyable.

This workshop is perfect for beginner and intermediate photographers who are eager to improve their skills and take their flower photography to the next level.
