Step into the magic of autumn nights at Long Hill in Beverly, MA, where thousands of glowing pumpkins light the winding paths and gardens in a breathtaking Halloween display. This unique workshop blends the festive spirit of Halloween with professional instruction in night photography.
Guided by instructor, Kelly Mintz who has a Masters in Education and professional photographer, you’ll learn how to:

📍 Location: Meet at SEE Shore Photography for lecture and then drive to Long Hill, Beverly, MA to photograph {about a 35 minute drive/ For more information about Long Hill pumpkin festival > https://thetrustees.org/program/halloween-on-the-hill/thetrustees.org/program/halloween-on-the-hill/
📸 SUPPLIES NEEDED
• A digital camera. Bring a wide angle or any lens in the 18-55 ish mm range lens.
• Please make sure your camera’s batteries are fully charged and/or bring an extra battery
• Please make space on your memory card.
• Snacks/water and comfortable shoes and able to walk comfortably for up to about two hours.

- Capture the warm glow of illuminated jack o'lanterns and festive displays after dark
- Use long exposures and creative camera settings to bring out color and detail in low light
- Balance shadows, highlights, and ambient light for dramatic effects
- Compose images that tell the story of this enchanting fall event

- Professional instruction and guided practice throughout the evening with Kelly Mintz, who has a Masters in Education and over 20 years experience as a professional photographer and teaching photography.
