Photo II is a 4 week long group class for the more advanced photographer.

Students photographing at Spencer Peirce Little Farm, Newbury, MA
This class is for the photographer who has taken a beginner photography class before and/or feels some what comfortable knowing what f.stops and shutter speeds. Plus, wants to further advance their photo taking skills.
During this Photo II class, you will have an opportunity to learn more about your camera, as well as create striking photographs. Topics include, learning more about composition, camera and lighting techniques. Specifically, learning how to better photograph landscapes, night, abstract and people, both formally and candid style. Kelly brings in live models so that students can practice photographing a person outside at scenic locations. These are just some of the topics that may be included, but each class is individually designed for student's needs & interests.
In addition, Kelly accompanies the class on several field trips to inspiring places so that students can practice photo concepts. Most other photo classes don’t offer the opportunity to go on field trips, but I feel it is the BEST way to learn the photography.
The class chooses the place to go on these field trips to inspiring places around the north shore area like, the Topsfield Fair, Maudsley State Park, Salisbury Beach trailer park, the old snuff mill in Byfield, Newburyport's Oldies Flea Market, Castle Hill in Ipswich, sunflower field's on Scotland Road, Plum Island Reservation, Nunan’s Florist, Newburyport’s Farmer’s Market, and even an old jail in Newburyport!
After each field trip and homework assignments, students present their digital images to the class to receive constructive and positive feedback.
